Dorla's Piano Studio

Music stimulates the heart, mind & soul. Experience it. Live it. Make it.

Are you wondering what it will have inside?

As you walk through the front door you step into the waiting area, to your left is the restroom, and as you walk through the next door you are in the Great Room where all lessons will take place.  On your left is another door leading to the music library and storage and I have reserved a small space for a desk/copy machine and other office necessities.  And that is it!  The Great Room has enough space for the grand piano, 8 keyboards, CD player and movement area (which is the same area that will be used for Spanish class and Handbells).

Oh! I forgot to mention that the floor has been stained also.  Today I love the color…tomorrow?  we’ll see!

It is no longer only on paper! Every day we see progress and are excited about the new building for Dorla’s Piano Studio.  The pianos will now have a permanent home!

Come by and visit. Your suggestions will be welcomed, discussed at dinner time and filed.  And that’s about it!  One parent already suggested  a gazebo….for the  parents to sit and wait of course!   Suggestion filed.  But I really liked this one!

Monday classes begin August 16.

We had a great time during Summer Piano Olympics 2010, 4 days of synchronized playing, scale marathons and team musical sports.  Family members and friends joined us for the closing ceremonies which included  the award ceremony, procession of flags, synchronized keyboard performance and the passing of the Olympic torch.

Congratulations to all!
